The Ulysseus Innovation Hub on Ageing and Well-being becomes a WHO Collaborating Centre
Université Côte d’Azur takes a major new step in its commitment to public health: the Ulysseus Innovation Hub on Ageing and Well-being has been officially designated as a Collaborating Centre of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The partnership reflects the international recognition of the expertise developed within the university and its ongoing involvement in major health challenges. As a WHO Collaborating Centre, the Innovation Hub will carry out the following activities in close collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO):
● Provide training and build the capacity of public health professionals to adopt systems thinking and innovative approaches to improve public health;
● Conduct research on the application of systems thinking and innovation in health policy;
● Contribute to the creation of a public health innovation ecosystem by providing technical expertise and organizing specialized workshops.
This new collaboration strengthens an already solid relationship between Université Côte d’Azur and the WHO. Among the key initiatives is the organization of an international Summer School, now entering its third edition.
The 2025 edition of the Summer School on “Systems thinking and innovation for the prevention of noncommunicable diseases and a healthy ageing population” will be held in July in Nice. It is intended for researchers, health professionals and policy makers interested in adopting a systems-based approach to improve health policy implementation.
This designation as a WHO Collaborating Centre marks a key milestone for Université Côte d’Azur in expanding its influence and expertise in public health, innovation and international cooperation.
