Ulysseus CitiesMD is a 2-year programme which is taught throughout 4 semesters. In the following graph, you will be able to understand how semesters are organized and where you could take your modules. Please note, semesters are shortened as follows: Semester 1 (S1), Semester 2 (S2), Semester 3 (S3) and Semester 4 (S4).
CitiesMD at a glance
S1
During the first programme year, students will enrol at University of Seville (Spain). During Semester 1, students will be based at the following location:
Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería (ETSI), Camino de los Descubrimientos, 41092, Seville
S2
For Semester 2, students may choose whether to continue either at the University of Seville (Spain) or to attend this programme at the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) on a mobility scheme. With this option, student may benefit from completing their first year of CitiesMD in two different universities and two different countries.
S3
For Semester 3, students can choose between the following options:
- Université Côte d’Azur (France)
- MCI | The Entrepreneurial School ® (Austria)
- University of Genoa (Italy)
- Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland)
Location really depends on the elective courses selected.
From an administrative point of view, students will be enrolled as joint master students at Université Côte d’Azur (France) and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School ® (Austria). By contrast, students will be enrolled as incoming students if they choose University of Genoa (Italy) or Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland).
Mobility during S3 is expected to be blended, with onsite courses followed at the host Higher Education Institution and the possibility of online courses in the remaining Higher Education Institution.
S4
For Semester 4, students may choose to complete the last stage of the programme at any of the 6 partner universities. At this semester their focus is to take their Traineeships and Master Thesis modules.
From an administrative point of view, students will be enrolled as joint master students at the University of Seville (Spain), Université Côte d’Azur (France) and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School ® (Austria). By contrast, students will be enrolled as incoming students at the following universities: the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), University of Genoa (Italy) and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland).
Mobility at CitiesMD
With this mobility scheme, a UlysseusCitiesMD student will be able to enjoy a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 periods of in-person mobility (6 months), with the possibility of taking online courses from other partner universities.
