Ulysseus Participates in the International Digital Week 2026 of Université Côte d’Azur
The alliance showcases four BIPs focused on fostering innovation, digital transformation and international collaboration in higher education
Ulysseus participated in the International Digital Week 2026 organised by the International Development and Europe Department of Université Côte d’Azur from 22 to 26 June 2026 in Nice, France. The international event, which celebrated this year its fith edition, brought together nearly 400 higher education professionals from 47 countries. Represented by almost 100 partner universities, participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share expertise and explore the future of digital transformation.
Held at the Saint Jean d’Angely Campus in Nice, the five-day programme welcomed researchers, academic and administrative staff, policymakers, companies, strategic partners, and representatives of European and international networks.
Through conferences, workshops and networking activities, participants explored emerging trends in digital innovation and discussed how higher education institutions can respond to the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly digital world.
As a key contributor to the event, Ulysseus European University highlighted the added value of its Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), which bring together participants from across Europe to learn, collaborate and develop innovative solutions to shared challenges.

Driving Change Through Ulysseus Blended Intensive Programmes
During the International Digital Week, Ulysseus showcased four BIPs addressing some of the most pressing priorities for higher education and society.
The Digital Transformation in Education programme explored how digital technologies are reshaping teaching, learning and academic management. Participants examined innovative pedagogical approaches, developed digital competencies, and discussed strategies for effectively integrating technology into curricula.
The Digital Innovation & Entrepreneurship programme focused on the role of digital innovation in fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and creating new economic opportunities. Discussions highlighted how universities can support start-ups, strengthen innovation ecosystems and collaborate with industry to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
Through Internationalization for Society, participants reflected on how internationalisation can contribute to the public good. The programme explored inclusive approaches to international cooperation, global citizenship and community engagement, while examining how higher education institutions can extend the benefits of international partnerships to society as a whole.
Finally, the Multilingualism and Intercultural Communication in an Increasingly Digital Work Environment programme provided a valuable learning experience for non-academic staff from Ulysseus partner universities. Organised by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Université Côte d’Azur, the programme focused on developing the skills needed to thrive in multilingual and multicultural teams within today’s hybrid and digital workplaces.
Through its active participation in International Digital Week 2026, Ulysseus once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening European cooperation, promoting innovation in higher education, and creating impactful learning opportunities that prepare university communities for the challenges of a rapidly evolving digital future.
