Start-up programme ALIVE – Accelerating Longevity Innovations and Vitality Experiences – now receiving applications

Are you developing an innovative project in the field of well-being and ageing? Université Côte d’Azur has launched the ALIVE start-up programme – Accelerating Longevity Innovations and Vitality Experiences – within the framework of the European University Alliance Ulysseus. Applications are open until 16 March 2026.

Led by the Institute for Innovation and Partnerships (2IP) Well-being and Ageing at Université Côte d’Azur, ALIVE supports entrepreneurs and start-ups committed to addressing the societal challenges linked to demographic transition and increasing longevity.

A six-month hybrid programme dedicated to innovation

Running from April to October 2026, the programme follows a hybrid format, enabling participants to combine on-site activities with remote engagement. Over six months, selected start-ups benefit from structured, high-level support that combines academic expertise, market insight and access to advanced technological infrastructures.

Comprehensive support for high-impact projects

The ALIVE programme provides:

  • Masterclasses and dedicated meetings with leading specialists and researchers in fields such as biotechnology, neuroscience and economics
  • Learning expeditions, conferences and professional events, offering deeper insight into the Silver Economy market
  • Access to innovative infrastructures, including a living lab and connected home for real-time experimentation, as well as a fab lab and co-working spaces

Through the Ulysseus alliance, participants gain privileged access to an international innovation ecosystem, fostering strong synergies between research, innovation and business development.
