Ulysseus Satellite Project Curate kicks off first Bootcamp
Last week marked an exciting milestone for the CURATE Project as Haaga-Helia hosted the official hybrid kickoff meeting for students participating in the first bootcamp.

The kickoff meeting held at Haaga-Helia in mid-March adopted a hybrid structure, successfully engaging over 70 students from the project’s five partner universities, including Université Côte d’Azur (France), MCI Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), and University of Münster (Germany). Students from Haaga-Helia joined the session in person at the AI Innovation Hub on the university’s Pasila campus, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Bootcamps
The first bootcamp is being presented in a hybrid format, with students joining both online and on-site at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) in April 2025. 25 highly motivated students from partner universities have been selected to attend the event on-site, immersing themselves in a dynamic learning environment, while an additional 45 students will participate in the bootcamp online, leveraging digital tools to collaborate with their peers.
Bootcamps are a crucial component of the CURATE Incubator framework and will provide a focused, intensive, and immersive experience for the participating student teams. These teams will begin to develop business solutions to challenges presented by associated partners representing the world of work. This hands-on approach is central to CURATE’s methodology, encouraging students to learn by doing and achieve tangible outcomes while solving real-world problems.
About Curate
The CURATE Project aims to combine AI solutions with the entrepreneurial process to develop an incubator programme, strongly connected to the development of the Ulysseus AI Innovation HUB ecosystem. A key objective is to provide migrant students with a challenge-based platform that caters to their learning styles and equips them with transferable, forward-looking skills. Notably, CURATE will actively engage individuals and organizations from the world of work to become key catalysts in the co-design of new learning and teaching practices. This collaboration seeks to generate practical solutions to real-world challenges presented by labour market actors, ensuring the relevance and impact of the students’ entrepreneurial ventures.
