International Digital Week 2025: over 250 participants from 35 countries gather at Université Côte d’Azur
A global event for knowledge exchange and collaboration on digital transformation in higher education

From 16 to 20 June 2025, Université Côte d’Azur welcomes around 250 participants from 35 nationalities and 65 partner universities for the 4th edition of the International Digital Week. This annual event has become a key platform for exchanging knowledge and fostering collaboration on digital transformation and technological innovation in organisations worldwide.
“The International Digital Week reflects our university’s commitment to building global partnerships and promoting innovation in digital education and research,” says Virginie Oddo, Head of the International Relations Department at Université Côte d’Azur.
The week features a rich programme of conferences, workshops, and networking sessions, allowing experts and researchers to discuss major challenges and opportunities in digital culture.

As part of International Digital Week 2025, Université Côte d’Azur is hosting three Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) as part of Ulysseus European University learning activities for its community:
- Digital Transformation in Higher Education
- Teaching Skills for Educators in a Digitalized Environment
- Enhancing Internationalization through Digitalization
These BIPs are designed for academic and administrative staff and offer unique platforms to engage with peers globally on the evolving digital landscape of higher education. They aim to support institutional staff in navigating and shaping digital innovation within their universities through theoretical insights, peer exchange, and hands-on collaboration.

Participants have the opportunity to explore major trends and technologies impacting higher education today, sharing strategies and best practices for implementing digital change in teaching, administration, and governance — all contributing to building institutional readiness for a digitally enhanced and sustainable future.
The event’s dynamic agenda and diverse attendance highlight the growing importance of digital transformation in higher education and beyond.
“Events like this enhance our international visibility and attractiveness, reinforcing our position as a leading institution in digital innovation. We are proud to host this important gathering of digital culture and technology experts,” adds Chandan Atreya, Head of the Attractiveness and Visibility Division at Université Côte d’Azur.
