Double Bachelor Degree in Business

About this degree

The MCI-Haaga-Helia Double Degree allows selected students to complete Bachelor level business studies in both Innsbruck, Austria and Helsinki, Finland. Their studies enable them to build professional networks in two European countries as well as to deepen their understanding of international business.

General Overview of the Programme

MCI students shall complete the first four (4) semesters at their home university. They shall spend the fifth (5) and sixth (6) semester at Haaga-Helia and complete the seventh (7) semester at their home university.

  • The MCI student needs to complete their Major Specialisation in either Human Resource Management or Financial Management.
  • Haaga-Helia students shall complete the first two (2) semesters at their home university. They shall then spend the third (3) and fourth (4) semester studying courses at MCI, and complete the fifth (5), sixth (6) and seventh (7) semester at Haaga-Helia.

Double Degree students complete 210 ECTS in total and submit one thesis at the end of their degree programme. Their thesis is graded separately by MCI and Haaga-Helia.

Students who successfully complete the academic requirements of the Double Degree shall receive both Bachelor degrees from MCI and Haaga-Helia.

Participation Fees

Double Degree student will pay the tuition fees to their home institution. They will not be charged tuition fees by their host institution.
