Ulysseus Participates in the European Student Ambassador Forum in Poland
Students from European University Alliances gathered in Warsaw to strengthen collaboration, share best practices, and contribute to the future of higher education in Europe through the European Student Ambassador Forum (EUSAF) 2026.
Ulysseus was once again represented at the European Student Ambassador Forum (EUSAF) 2026, held from 2–4 July at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Poland. The annual event brought together student ambassadors from European Universities Alliances (EUAs) to exchange experiences, explore innovative approaches to student engagement, and discuss the future of higher education across Europe.
EUSAF is a flagship activity of the EUC Voices Erasmus+ project, an initiative designed to empower students with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to become active contributors to Europe’s future. The forum serves as a platform for students to share perspectives, develop recommendations for European Universities Alliances, and strengthen a sense of belonging across the European higher education landscape.

Representing Ulysseus, Sara Markovic from the University of Montenegro participated in a range of interactive workshops and collaborative activities focused on alliance governance, stakeholder engagement, and the role of students in decision-making processes.
“One of the most valuable parts of the forum was a role-playing session focused on alliance governance, stakeholder roles, and student representation in decision-making,” said Sara Markovic. “We also took part in interactive activities that helped us understand how different stakeholders can align their interests and collaborate effectively.
Participants additionally explored topics related to budgeting and project investment, examining how resources can be allocated in ways that ensure mutual benefit for all alliance partners. These discussions provided practical insights into the challenges and opportunities involved in managing large-scale European university collaborations.
Reflecting on her experience, Sara highlighted a key message that emerged throughout the forum: “We are not only building bridges and connections with one another, but we ourselves act as bridges. How we present ourselves and our initiatives directly impacts the final result.”

Developed within the EUC Voices project consortium and coordinated by SGH Warsaw School of Economics (Poland), EUSAF continues to play a crucial role in fostering student engagement, strengthening European identity, and amplifying the impact and visibility of the European Universities Initiative. Through its participation, Ulysseus reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that student voices remain at the heart of shaping the future of higher education in Europe.
