Ulysseus Young Explorers in Science: First Call for Papers Now Open
The Ulysseus European University has officially launched the first Call for Papers for the new student scientific journal, Ulysseus Young Explorers in Science (UYES).
UYES is an international, peer-reviewed journal designed for secondary school students interested in research, innovation, and academic writing. The journal aims to introduce young students to the research process and provide them with the opportunity to publish their first scientific paper, with support from their teachers and the Ulysseus academic community.
The submission deadline for the first issue is 30 April 2026, with the inaugural issue scheduled for publication on 30 June 2026.
All submissions undergo a standard peer-review process. Manuscripts submitted after the deadline will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis. Accepted papers will be published continuously on the journal website and officially included in subsequent issues.
The journal welcomes contributions from a wide range of fields, including technology, sustainability, health, engineering, social sciences, economics, and the humanities.
Students and teachers can find detailed information, author guidelines, and templates on the journal’s website: https://ulysseus.eu/uyes/. Submissions are handled through the journal platform.
The UYES initiative represents an important step toward strengthening early engagement of young students in research and innovation within the Ulysseus European University.
