Ulysseus Pedagogical Forum: fostering collaboration in educational activities
The 3-day forum aimed to foster collaboration among the academic staff involved in Ulysseus joint educational activities, such as joint degrees and joint courses.
The Ulysseus Pedagogical Forum, a significant Ulysseus event for educational development, concluded successfully in Helsinki on 23rd of May, bringing together Ulysseus Pedagogical Development Steering group and educators from Ulysseus partner universities. The 3-day forum aimed to foster collaboration among the academic staff involved in Ulysseus joint educational activities, such as joint degrees and joint courses.
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences hosted the event at the Pasila Campus in Helsinki, with one day at the Porvoo Campus. The forum featured a series of workshops, presentations, and discussions on innovative pedagogy, work-life collaboration, digital pedagogy and Artificial Intelligence (AI), setting the stage for future pedagogical development.
The programme was planned by Haaga-Helia’s Irma Kunnari and Marika Alhonen. These collaborative sessions were designed to support the development of the Ulysseus Pedagogical Guidelines, a crucial component for the effective implementation of the Ulysseus Educational activities offer.
Also, during the Pedagogical Forum members of the Pedagogical Developing Steering Group met to design the next steps for the Pedagogical Guidelines based on the outcomes of the activities organized during the forum.
