Ulysseus Alliance Staff Mobility Pilot Open Call for participation at the Ulysseus International Teaching Week at the University of Montenegro
Key information:
Ulysseus European University is opening the call for mobility of staff from partner members, to participate at the flagship staff mobility event for 2026: Ulysseus International Teaching Week at the University of Montenegro.
The activity is part of the Ulysseus European University plan for staff mobility.
Who is invited to come to UoM: Academic staff from any Ulysseus alliance’s partner university which has allocated staff mobility funding.
Locations: UoM campuses in the cities of Podgorica, Cetinje, Niksic or Kotor, depending on the area of mobility
Period of mobility: Summer semester of the academic year 2025/2026 (20-25 April)
Duration of Mobility: 3 – 5 teaching days (+ travel)

Activities to be carried out during the mobility: teaching – interactive lessons – masterclasses (min. 8 hours during the week), students’ project activities, students’ research mentoring, public discussions and networking

Conditions of Implementation:
- Parallel application to this Open Call (see application form in appendix) and the Erasmus+ staff mobility call at home university, with the identical proposal
- In case of multiple applicants to the same UoM partner teacher, the host teachers should follow the Guidelines for teachers’ matchmaking during academic staff mobility (see appendix).
- Teaching is usually provided as elective or extracurricular activity or if possible, integrated into the obligatory programme at the UoM.
- Aligned with Ulysseus Pedagogical Guidelines (see appendix)
- Fine-tuning of the content and mode of delivery for students jointly with the host UoM teacher
- Highly recommended to offer a hybrid model of lectures so that students from other partner universities could connect and follow as much as possible
- Integrate networking, sharing best practices and discussing further collaborative projects between academic staff
- Participation of the cooperating teachers in the joint activities organized by the UoM during the Teaching Week
Funding for mobility: Funding for the exchanges is normally available through STA mobility (Staff mobility for Teaching) Erasmus+ grants. Other funding sources, such as nationally funded bilateral mobility funds, specially allocated funds at the sending institution or other may also be available. Please consult your university Erasmus+ staff mobility page to check for available funding. If you need help, contact your university’s Ulysseus mobility officer.
