Senior Researcher and AI-TIE Project Manager, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences

Anna specializes in the transformation of work life from the perspectives of the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and new technologies, innovation management and entrepreneurship, evolution of psychological contract, gender roles and women careers. Anna has close to 20 years of industry, entrepreneurial, startup and academic experience in Finland, across Europe and globally. Anna is an internationally published scholar and a Recipient of “Academic Paper Most Relevant to Entrepreneurs Award” presented by United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. She is Project Manager for AI-TIE – AI Technology Innovation Ecosystems for Competitiveness of SMEs that has supported over 100 companies in exploring AI opportunities and developing AI solutions for their business.

 

Erkki Seppäläinen

Chief Technology Officer at LINK Design and Development

Erkki has over 25 years of experience in industrial development in Finland and internationally. He is Chief Technology Officer at LINK Design and Development. Erkki’s key competence is in leading multidiscipline projects that involve several stakeholders. These typically encompass complex data analysis, problem solving, priority conflicts and resourcing challenges that need to be resolved successfully. Jan Järveläinen

Service Development Director at Premix Group

Jan Järveläinen works as Service Development Director for Premix Group, a mid-sized family-owned Finnish manufacturer of functional plastics. In his current role Jan is responsible for data management, aiming to foster a data-driven culture with the help of supporting processes. Jan holds a D.Sc. degree from Aalto University in radio engineering, and current topics of interest include especially the secrets of good strategy and its successful implementation.

Lassi Kurkijärvi

Executive CTO at Sofigate

Lassi Kurkijärvi, Executive CTO, Sofigate, is a Finnish tech and digital transformation leader and media personality. He is an AI-TIE steering group member, who believes that in the age of AI and human partnerships leadership is more crucial than ever. His goal is to create cultures where people and machines can do awesome things together: build new business, improve the lives of others and solve problems for a finer world.

 

Tuomo Kousa

Managing Director at Powdea Technologies

Tuomo is Managing Director at Finnish company Powdea Technologies. Tuomo and Powdea team help food factories, bakeries and chemical plants in automatization of their ingredient dosing processes by engineering and presenting a customized solution for their needs.

 

Ulla Broms

CEO at Foibekartano

Currently acting as CEO of Foibekartano, an elderly housing care, with the aim of offering diversified experiences and services that support a “good life community” for the elderly. Prior to joining Foibekartano, Ulla worked within change leadership topics as a social and health service director in Askola municipality in Finland. In addition, Ulla possesses a wealth of knowledge from university research and rehabilitation setting. Besides work, she dedicates a lot of time to her family. She gets energized by outdoors, golf and yoga.
