MCI Sustainability Week 2026 is a multi-day program of free (online & in –person) sessions that brings students, faculty, professionals, and partners together to accelerate action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Expect a mix of thought-provoking keynotes, interactive webinars, and practical workshops that translate European cooperation, teaching innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking into real-world impact.

Webinar: Experimenting for Sustainability – Teaching Hacks for your Seminars

Get ready-to-use teaching inspiration to equip students for today’s biggest challenges. This webinar showcases two interactive, transferable teaching formats. Leave with practical ideas you can plug directly into your seminars and lectures.

With our teaching we want to prepare students to tackle the key challenges of our time. For being able to create sustainable futures, different skills and capabilities are needed – which can be learned best in interactive and experimental settings. The webinar introduces two examples that can inspire your teaching and can be transferred to your own seminars/lectures easily. The first example will give insight into the inter- and transdisciplinary teaching experiment “Diversity Lab” that was conducted at the University of Münster. The second bite of inspiration introduces “TheWEEK”, which is a film-based exchange setting to deal with the central challenges of our time.
