Accelerating Longevity Innovations and Vitaly Experiences
ALIVE Start-up Programme
About the programme
The Accelerating Longevity Innovations and Vitality Experiences (ALIVE) Start-up Programme, led by the Institute for Innovation and Partnerships (2IP) Well-being and Ageing at Université Côte d’Azur, supports entrepreneurs and start-ups tackling societal challenges linked to demographic transition and increasing longevity. Ageing is seen as an entry point for innovation across multiple sectors of the economy, beyond health.
The programme addresses the challenge of supporting longevity: what innovations can help people live longer, healthier, more active, and meaningful lives? It builds on regional strengths while recognising the broader ecosystem in which it operates, aiming to make a meaningful contribution to the Silver Economy, valued at EUR 130 million in France and USD 15 trillion globally.
Who is this programme for?
The ALIVE Start-up Programme is designed for start-ups developing innovative solutions that enhance longevity and well-being. The Silver Economy spans numerous market segments, including health and wellness, IT, fitness, nutrition, cognition, environment, housing, recreation, and transport.
ALIVE welcomes start-ups at all stages, united by a shared mission to develop responsible and sustainable solutions for a longer, healthier life.
