Ulysseus European University Launches a New Joint Master’s Degree in AI for Business Transformation 

August 8, 2024 – Building on the work done in its inaugural joint program, CitiesMD, the Ulysseus European University Alliance is proud to announce its second joint master’s degree: the Joint Master Degree in AI for Business Transformation. This groundbreaking program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in driving business innovation and transformation. 

Program Overview  

The Joint Master Degree in AI for Business Transformation is a comprehensive, two-year, 120 ECTS program coordinated by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with other Ulysseus European University Alliance partners: MCI The Entrepreneural School ®, Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Université Côte d’Azur (Unica), University of Genoa (Unige), and University of Seville (USE). This program offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for leadership roles in AI-driven business initiatives. 

Authentic International Academic Journey 

Students will embark on an international educational journey, gaining diverse perspectives and experiences in three different European countries. The program begins at Haaga-Helia in Finland, where students will explore AI applications in business. The second semester takes place at MCI in Austria, focusing on advanced AI techniques for business. In the third semester, students will specialize either in AI methods at TUKE in Slovakia or take a multidisciplinary approach at USE in Spain. The final semester, dedicated to transversal skills, can be completed online from any of the participating universities, culminating in an industry-commissioned Master’s thesis and potential internships. 

Employment Opportunities 

Future graduates will possess the skills and competencies to excel in various expert and leadership roles, including ICT service development manager, business analyst, AI specialist, IT consultant, and trainer. The program also lays a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing relevant PhD studies. 

Application, Admission and Costs 

Applications will be accepted online from August 28 to September 11, 2024. The selection process includes an online entrance examination on October 10, 2024, followed by an on-site interview at Haaga-Helia’s Pasila Campus in Helsinki, Finland, on October 24, 2024. Detailed application procedures, general requirements, and preliminary materials will be available on Haaga-Helia’s website starting August 28.
