Kristína Ovčarová

Project Manager, Startup Ecosystem Development (TUKE)
LinkedIn

Kristína Ovčárová is a final-year Computer Science student at the Technical University of Košice with a strong interest in entrepreneurship and the practical use of technology. She works as a Data Manager at Laza Medical, a US-based startup developing AI-powered robotic imaging systems for cardiac procedures, where she experiences firsthand how innovation can transform healthcare.

Beyond startups, Kristína is passionate about education and empowerment. As a lecturer, she leads workshops on AI in business and actively supports girls and women in tech through the non-profit organization Female Algorithm, contributing to projects such as IT bootcamps, XXFactor, and CodeWeek.

Her journey reflects a blend of technical expertise, curiosity, and a drive to create value — whether by building solutions, inspiring others, or bridging the gap between technology and people.

Evelin Bakó

Evelin Bakó is an entrepreneurial leader, business builder, and currently the Head of Revenue at Fygë, a Finnish food company redefining B2B hospitality. Originally from Hungary, Evelin moved to Finland at 16 without speaking the language — a challenge that taught her how to build from zero, adapt fast, and turn uncertainty into opportunity.

At Fygë, she has led the company’s growth from early-stage revenue to a scalable, profitable business — generating over €2,5M in sales, achieving a 90% client retention rate, and helping position Fygë from a small family business to the leading corporate catering company in Helsinki.

Evelin’s strength lies in connecting strategy with action — aligning sales, marketing, and customer success to create real, measurable impact. She’s passionate about empowering others to lead with empathy and clarity, proving that progress doesn’t come from waiting for the right moment, but from taking the first step and learning as you go.
