Meet the Expert
«Meet the expert» is series of video interviews which brings together leading experts from European universities to explore the intersections of gender, equality, diversity, and inclusion within academia across the Ulysseus alliance.
Through thoughtful conversations, the series examines pressing issues such as race and academia, inclusive and equitable teaching practices, gender-based violence, and persistent gender inequalities in academic institutions.
The speakers draw on research, lived experience, and institutional practice to unpack structural challenges while highlighting innovative approaches to change. Together, these interviews offer critical insights into how universities can become more just, safe, and inclusive spaces for learning, teaching, and knowledge production.
The series invites academic communities and wider audiences alike to reflect, question, and engage with the ongoing transformation of higher education in Europe.
This initiative is organized by the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Citizen Engagement workgroup led by University of Genoa.
