Eighteen Ulysseus students have been selected to participate in the inaugural session of the ESA
The European Universities Community (EUC) has selected eighteen students from Ulysseus European University to participate in the inaugural session of the European Student Assembly, which will gather 260 students in Strasbourg on the 3rd and 4th March, 2022. These students have been chosen among more than 800 eligible applications, 65 from Ulysseus European University.
Students will participate in a session that will be held in the context of the EUC, a grassroots initiative gathering student representatives from European University Alliances, initiated first by French Universities in the context of the forthcoming EU Council French Presidency, and open to any European students or institutions willing to get involved. The assembly has already received strong support from the European Commission.
Their activities and initiatives aim at giving students from European universities a voice in the decision-making processes at European level, focusing on the Conference on the Future of Europe. In fact, the position paper written by Ulysseus’ students during the Open Event in Seville will feed this initiative’s manifesto.
Hence, participating in the European Student Assembly will give students a unique opportunity to making their voices heard in the first event gathering student representatives from almost all European University alliances.
Students from the alliance
The EUC has chosen 18 students from the six partner universities of the Ulysseus alliance:. 5 from the University of Seville in Spain, 4 from the MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® in Austria, 3 from the Université Côte d’Azur in France, 3 from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland, 2 from the Technical University of Košice iin Slovakia and one from the University of Genoa in Italy.
