BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMMES - FAQs

FAQs for Students

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are an innovative short-term mobility opportunity within Erasmus+. They combine online learning with a short in-person component held at one of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), known as the Host University, allowing you to collaborate with students from across Europe.

Each BIP consists of a virtual component and a physical component, with the in-person part lasting between 5 and 30 days. By combining online learning with a short period of in-person teaching, this format creates international study opportunities for a broader range of students.

Each BIP programme is organized by three Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), with at least two from the Ulysseus alliance. Whether a BIP may be integrated into your study programme or considered a complementary activity, as well as the recognition of ECTS credits, depends on the policies of your home university.

Overall, BIPs offer an excellent opportunity to develop cross-cultural collaboration skills and enhance your academic experience in an international setting.
