Transformation Plan For AI Living Labs

ALFA Labs will advance the digital capabilities of higher education in the use of AI and Increase digital transformation of HEIs through the development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity.

ALFA Labs will plan the supporting infrastructure to directly impact HEIs to increase their capacity and readiness to manage an effective shift towards digital education and specifically the use of AI, develop digital skills and support digital capabilities of HEIs.

This is an ambitious Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnership initiative. With a funding allocation of 400,000 Euro, this project spans 36 months and aims to foster innovation and collaboration in Artificial Intelligence within living lab environments.

Objectives

OBJ 1

Increase digital transformation of HEIs through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity.

 

 

OBJ 2

Advance the digital capabilities of higher education in the use of AI through hosting a series of AI Living Labs to evaluate and configure the DTP in real world settings.

Activities

  • Involve 4 HEIs and 4 Associate Partner HEIs, as part of the Ulysseus Alliance, to codesign a Digital Transformation Plan related to the use of AI as an assistive and accessible learning technology.
  • Involve experts in AI, digitilsation, pedagogy to Co-design the key elements, and a Co-creation group of teachers, students & HEI policy makers, to Co-develop the Digital Transformation Plan.
  • Pilot an HEI Assessment Index tool and AI Readiness scale with members of the Ulysseus Alliance.
  • Host AI Living Labs to evaluate and configure the Digital Transformation Plan in real world settings through 2 virtual and 2 physical learning lab environments.
  • Create an ALFA Kit to transfer digital capabilities and skills to teaches in higher education
