Call: IdEx Advanced Research Program 2026
As part of its commitment to excellence and international prominence, the Initiative of Excellence of Université Côte d’Azur is launching the 2026 call for applications for the IdEx Advanced Research Chairs. The deadline to apply is March 23, 2026.
This call is designed to foster original and high-level disciplinary research across all scientific and artistic fields represented at Université Côte d’Azur.
The call aims to invite top-level researchers and artists to join laboratories and groups at Université Côte d’Azur for a period of 6 to 24 months. The objective is to attract individuals who will enhance the site’s reputation and visibility by fostering interactions that strengthen research and creative potential. The program focuses on building ambitious international collaborations and advancing high-quality research or creative activities leading to impactful publications or exhibitions. Selected chairs are also encouraged to consider applying for future recruitment opportunities at Université Côte d’Azur.
Interested candidates should first get in touch with a research laboratory or a group member of Université Côte d’Azur ecosystem. Together, the candidate and the local host will come up with an original research program and submit the application through our dedicated platform Nuxéo.
Timeline
- Launch of the call: November 18, 2025
- Deadline for the submission of applications on Nuxeo: March 23, 2026
- Oral interviews with the preselected candidates: May 29, 2026
- Announcement of results: mid-June 2026
- Starting date of the projects: between September 1, 2026 and February 1, 2027
