Marie Curie Post-doctoral Fellowships Support

The Marie Curie Post-doctoral Fellowships call for action provides funding for the post-doc salary as well as for the environment of research, training and networking for a duration of 12 to 36 months.

The European Commission will launch the call for projects in April 2024 with a deadline for submission of applications on 11th September 2024.

The selected projects may start from April 2025.

How does it work?

A post-doc needs to identify a supervisor within one of our member University and work on a scientific project.

What does Ulysseus provides?

Ulysseus University supports your application at three levels:

1. Matching between post-doc and supervisors
2. Online Master Class on how to drafta winning proposals (with the supportour respective ministries)
3. Some post-docs will benefit from an extra mobility grant to visit their potential host institution

What do we offer?

• The selected candidates shall benefit from a “Master Class”, an intensive 2-days online training, to boost their knowledge and ability to prepare successful MSCA-PF proposals.
• And more…! At stake is a on-site immersion program (travel and accommodation included) to meetup with your potential Host PI in the Host Institution of your choice!
• The selected candidates shall benefit from the local network of the Host PI, and if interested, can benefit from cooperation secondments with non-academic partners or international academic partners of Ulysseus.

Eligibility criteria

The MSCA-PF call is open to candidates of any nationality.
Please, bear in mind that the MSCA-PF candidates must comply with the following rules:

• They must be in possession of a doctoral degree at the date of the call deadline (Sept. 11th, 2024).
• They must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date of doctoral degree awarding.
• They must be currently or have been (in the last 3 years) employed / enrolled by one of the Ulysseus Partners or Associated Partners
• They must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the Host Institution’s country for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately preceding the call deadline.
• Only one proposal per candidate is eligible.
• Candidates who have applied to the MSCA-PF 2023 Call and received an evaluation below 70% are not eligible for an application in 2024.

If you meet the eligibility criteria described above, please send us your information, a short but attractive description of your project, and the Host Institution of choice. If you don’t have a clear project in mind, you can still register your information and send us your CV.
2. If you are a supervisor interested in hosting a post-doc, send us the link to your research gate, ORCID, personal page, other. If you wish to work on a specific project, please send us a brief abstract (please, check online form for info).
