Ulysseus Spanish Intermediate 1

This book-based course is aimed for those interested in learning Spanish at an intermediate level. We will be working towards level B1, so learners who access it should already be familiar with basic A2 vocabulary and grammar.

The course will be synchronous, meaning you will have mandatory live online classes with a teacher available to assist you with any questions or needs you may have in real-time.

Ninety-minute classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:30 CET from February 17th to June 4th, with breaks for Easter week, Seville’s Fair, and local holidays.

Learning outcomes

You will be able to manage communicative formulae and grammatical, lexical and phonetic content, as well as sociocultural aspects, which will contribute to the progressive development of your communicative competence in Spanish and to the improvement of your oral expression, being able to express opinions and feelings, formulate questions in different contexts (in the family, community, services, etc.), relate past experiences, talk about future actions and situations, formulate hypotheses, express wishes, give advice, etc. It is also intended to reinforce your confidence in the knowledge already acquired, in your capacity for self- learning and in the development of personal work strategies and in collaboration with others.

– All the different past tenses of the Indicative mood.

– Present Subjunctive.

– Imperative mood.

– Future tenses, regular and irregular.

– Conditional tenses, regular and irregular.

– Connectors used in oral and written expression.

– B1 vocabulary and expressions.
