Ulysseus is boosting its training activities with more than a dozen Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) in the coming months
From 6 May to 30 August, students and staff from the 8 member universities will participate in these training activities which include new, more flexible mobility formats combining physical mobility with a virtual part.
Ulysseus European University is thrilled to announce its lineup of 13 Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) scheduled to take place over the next few months. These programs promise to attract participants from diverse backgrounds including staff, academics, and students, offering unique learning opportunities and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
The BIPs will cover a wide range of topics, providing participants with valuable insights and practical skills. From exploring ethics and energy management to enhancing intercultural competencies and digital innovation, the programmes are designed to cater to various interests and professional development needs.
University of Seville
The first of the BIPs starts this week in Seville, where Ulysseus is organising three BIPs throughout the month of May. The series kicks off with the Ulysseus Mobility Meeting, from 6 to 10 May, focusing on managing new Inter-Institutional Agreements (IIAs) and other ways of increasing the physical mobilitites in the Alliance. Then, from 13 to 17 May, the BIP Navigating on Ethics will delve into ethical considerations in various fields such as biomedicine, robotics and sustainability. To conclude the Seville leg, the BIP Energy: Generation, Storage and Management, from 20-24 May, will explore topics such as power generation, microgrids and the impact of sustainability.
Université Côte d’Azur
In the scenic city of Nice, Ulysseus European University presents a trio of transformative BIPs. Entre Camp Nice for students, scheduled from June 10th to 14th, offers a collaborative space for students to tackle challenges related to Ageing and Well-Being. From June 17th to 21st, educators can enhance their digital competencies at the Digital Soft Skills for Educators BIP, while also exploring the Highrises and Pitfalls of Digital Transformation in Organizations. Concurrently, European Project Management for staffs equips professionals with essential skills for navigating the complex landscape of EU funding opportunities.
University of Genoa
In Genoa, culture and tourism will take the lead with two enriching BIPs. From 17 to 21 June, the BIP Digital Innovation for Cultural Heritage trains participants to effectively manage digital innovation processes. In addition, from 15 to 19 July, the BIP Accessible Tourism in Protected Areas addresses the challenges of accessibility in tourism, promoting inclusive solutions for stakeholders.
Technical University of Košice
In Košice, Ulysseus European University invites PhD students and young scientists to explore urban dynamics and innovative methods at the PIF Exploring the X-factor of a city, from 8 to 12 July. This programme offers a unique opportunity to delve into the factors that drive the well-being of cities, with keynote lectures by renowned academics.
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences
And finally, travelling north, in Helsinki, Ulysseus European University offers two attractive BIPs. From 20-24 May, the BIP Explore Cultures and Enhance Skills in Business Relocation will immerse students in intercultural communication and problem solving, culminating in real relocation case studies. Next, the Multilingualism and Intercultural Competencies summer camp, from 3-7 June, promises deep cultural connections through tandem language learning sessions and intensive workshops.
