This workshop aims to provide a space for sharing feedback on the course and defining the next steps in developing the Ulysseus Living Labs.

1. Reflect on key takeaways from the ENoLL training course

2. Define the main vision and mission of the Ulysseus Living Labs, identify their challenges and explore their diversity in the context of the Ulysseus European University Alliance

3. Draw inspiration from some successful Living Labs of international renown

4. Lay the foundation for future collaborative projects among the Ulysseus Living Labs.

Invited speakers

Dr. Josep Miquel Piqué

Josep Miquel Piqué is a Telecommunication Engineer from La Salle and UPC and MBA from ESADE. He is a Doctor on Ecosystems of Innovation from Universitat Ramon Llull. He holds also diplomas from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of California-Berkeley. He is a disciple of Professors Henry Etzkowitz (co-founder of Triple Helix), Francesc Solé Parellada (Entrepreneurship) and Jerome Engel (Clusters of Innovation).

He is Founding President of XPCAT (Catalan Network of Science Parks), Vice-President of APTE (Spanish Network of Science Parks), XVII President of IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation), the Coordinator of the IASP World Alliance of Innovation Districts and II President of the Triple Helix Association.

Sonia Palomo

Sonia Palomo is the Director of Technology Transfer and International Relations at Málaga TechPark. She was recently awarded an Honorary Award at the XIV Enterprise Awards of the Málaga newspaper La Opinión. She holds an international master’s in management of technology and science parks from the University of Málaga and IASP, and a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Spanish National University of Distance Education (UNED).

She also had training in Business Project at Madrid Politécnica University and studied Business Managerial Sciences at Málaga University.
