About this workshop

Through a collaboration with CyberRangeCZ Hub, Ulysseus Innovation Hub in Cyber Security at the University of Montenegro is organizing a training on Cyber Range platform, for university staff and students. CyberRangeCZ delivers an open-source cyber range platform for universities, educators, and security professionals. Their platform enables hands-on training without vendor lock-in or proprietary constraints. Users create, share, and deploy realistic cyber scenarios through a modular, community-driven environment.

This workshop covers CyberRangeCZ core functionality, shows how to run technical security exercises, and demonstrates a growing collection of open scenarios. Participants will learn how to join their community and contribute to platform development through new content and use cases.

Target group

Target groups for the workshop: Ulysseus members’ teachers, researchers or students in the cyber security field and industry partners from the EU Cyber Security Skills Academy

Speakers: Jakub Čegan

Jakub leads CyberRangeCZ in a quest to provide better cybersecurity training to people in the Czech Republic and the European Union. He combines adversary thinking, the know-how of cybersecurity team operations, the latest legislation, and good storytelling based on real-life attacks to develop red-team/blue-team cybersecurity exercises and other services for the commercial sector.
