Student competition Cyber Challenge Lab – Call for Ulysseus mentors

The Innovation Hub for Cybersecurity of the University of Montenegro is inviting all academic members of the Ulysseus alliance to participate in the Cyber Challenge Lab Mentoring Sessions event. The event will take place in an online format, on September 18th and 19th .

About this initiative

This initiative is a cornerstone of our educational program aimed at fostering creativity, inquiry, and a passion for cybersecurity among students.

In the first year of holding the Cyber Challenge Lab, we have brought together over 30 students from diverse faculties, including Electrical Engineering, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Law, Economics, Psychology. These interdisciplinary teams have been working diligently from July to October, guided by experts both from the University of Montenegro and industry, to tackle pressing and engaging cybersecurity challenges.

As we approach Cybersecurity Month in October, we are organizing online mentoring sessions where student teams will present their challenges and proposed solutions and ask advice from international, Ulysseus partnership. We are seeking Ulysseus universities’ experts in the field to join us in these sessions, offering guidance, sharing resources, and helping refine the students‘ projects.

Why is your participation so important?

  • You can inspire the Next Generation: Your expertise and experience can open new horizons and have a profound impact on the careers and aspirations of our students.
