{"id":26418,"date":"2022-06-08T09:22:44","date_gmt":"2022-06-08T07:22:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ulysseus.eu\/?p=26418"},"modified":"2024-10-31T13:59:41","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T12:59:41","slug":"meet-in-helsinki-to-discuss-the-process-of-achieving-the-hrs4r-award-for-ulysseus","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ulysseus.eu\/sk\/news\/meet-in-helsinki-to-discuss-the-process-of-achieving-the-hrs4r-award-for-ulysseus\/","title":{"rendered":"Representatives of the alliance meet in Helsinki to discuss how to achieve the HRS4R award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rectors, vice-rectors, academic members and HR staff from Ulysseus partner universities gathered on June 6 <strong>to discuss about the procedure for achieving the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) award<\/strong> for partner universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This session aimed at providing Ulysseus partners with key information to apply for the HRS4R Award.<\/strong> This is a recognition granted by the European Commission for the development of researchers\u2019 working conditions and research careers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HRS4R is quality work related to researcher career and it can be regarded a European tool to tackle the competence gap for researchers<\/strong>. HRS4R is one of the policy measures in the European Research Area (ERA) Policy Agenda (2022-2024) and existing instruments in supporting the European Framework for Research Careers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HRS4R will provide several benefits for Ulysseus, such as enabling partner universities to attract researchers, funding and international partnerships; improving their profile and visibility and a creating a more transparent recruitment process for researchers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The meeting was introduced by Ana Timonen and Iris Humala from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, leaders of the COMPASS \u201cTalent and Research and Innovation Career\u201d workgroup.<\/p>\n<p>Also, other members of Ulysseus participated in this session. Project director Jean-Baptiste Nicholas from University of Cote d\u2019Azur introduced the actions taken by University of Cote d\u2019Azur to achieve this excellence award. This recognition was recently granted in May 2022.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ulysseus.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/3-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Last, but not least, vice-rectors and other representatives from partner universities gave an overview of the status of the researchers\u2019 career and the recruitment processes at their respective institutions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ulysseus.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/4-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>About COMPASS<\/h2>\n<p>COMPASS: <em>Leading Ulysseus to become a European University excellence model through Research and Innovation<\/em> is a Horizon 2020 project and the flagship for Ulysseus R&amp;I agenda and strategy.
