Ulysseus Event in Nice - Call for participation of Master, PhD and Postdoc Students of the University of Seville

Ulysseus European University, coordinated by the University of Seville, organizes an Event in Nice during 21-22 March 2023.

During this two-day event, at the Aging and Wellbeing Living Lab of the French university, a program will be held for Master, PhD students and young researchers of any research area related to the main activity of the Living Lab (Medicine, Robotics, Economics, AI, among others, with the focus on methods, devices or systems of medical care). The program will host up to 3 student from each of the Ulysseus partner universities, including the University of Seville, and aims to achieve the following objectives:

•  Experience and understand the potential and functionality of the Living Lab Age & Wellbeing
• Getting an understanding of the main actors in the living lab (GP’s, Patients and Researchers), and how each interact and benefit from it.
• Getting in touch with young researchers from the six partner universities related to the field.
• Increase the exposure of the Living Lab as tool for innovative co-creations for all of Ulysseus.

The Ageing and Wellbeing living lab is a fully monitored suite composed of a functional Medical office (General Practitioner), a fully equipped apartment, and an analysis centre. This suite is designed to be used for a myriad of activities, from analysing the patient-doctor dynamics to efficiency of medical care, and how well treatments work for patients in a real world-setting.

Application deadline: 12 March 2023 (23.59 CET).  The selection of participants will be made based on the following criteria:

• Candidates’ achievements and relation to the Living Lab main activity,
• English level and,
• Motivation to participate in the event

Travel and accommodation expenses will be met by Ulysseus.
