{"id":45917,"date":"2022-11-30T10:55:26","date_gmt":"2022-11-30T09:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ulysseus.eu\/?post_type=resources&#038;p=45917"},"modified":"2026-01-19T10:37:00","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T09:37:00","slug":"research-innovation-gender-agenda","status":"publish","type":"resources","link":"https:\/\/ulysseus.eu\/cnr\/resources-and-publications\/research-innovation-gender-agenda\/","title":{"rendered":"COMPASS Research &#038; Innovation Gender Agenda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Higher education&nbsp;institutions established in a Member State or&nbsp;Associated Country must have a Gender Equality Plan (GEP)&nbsp;in place, fulfilling mandatory process-related&nbsp;requirements, to be eligible for funding from Horizon&nbsp;Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Ulysseus partners satisfy the Horizon Europe request,&nbsp;and in the following pages you may read some relevant&nbsp;aspects of each GEPs, for which the direct links to&nbsp;download the texts (in national languages and, where&nbsp;available, in English) are added.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five areas of interventions are mandatory for all GEPs,&nbsp;because the EU considers<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>them essential factors for&nbsp;gender equality in R&amp;I:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200bWork-life balance&nbsp;and&nbsp;organisational&nbsp;culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender balance in&nbsp;leadership and&nbsp;decision-making&nbsp;\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender equality in&nbsp;recruitment and&nbsp;career progression&nbsp;&nbsp;\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrating the&nbsp;gender dimension&nbsp;into research and&nbsp;teaching content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Measures against&nbsp;gender-based&nbsp;violence, including&nbsp;sexual harassment..\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThis guide compares the GEPs in Ulysseus and shows how\u00a0partners can work to optimise the alignment among\u00a0proposals and GEPs, trying to emphasise the best\u00a0practices and to bring support to the difficulties\u00a0partners may incur in implementing their GEPs.
